Hey everyone!
With the temperatures starting to dip at night, I’ve been going through my usual fall home prep routine—checking window seals, bleeding radiators, and changing air filters.
Last year, our furnace started making a strange rattling noise right in the middle of a cold spell, and we ended up needing a fast furnace repair Saddle Brook NJ from First Choice Plumbing Heating and Air Conditioning to get the igniter fixed before the house got freezing. It definitely taught me not to wait until mid-December to make sure everything is running smoothly!
Are you guys doing pre-season tune-ups or system checks yourselves, or do you usually wait until you switch the thermostat over to heat to see if everything kicks on properly? Would love to hear how everyone else handles their pre-winter maintenance!
